General registration conditions Den Driesch Loop Valkenburg a / d Geul.
Article 1: Definitions
1.1. In general terms and conditions of the Den Driesch Loop the following terms have the following meanings:
a. Event: the running event Den Driesch Loop organized by Stichting Duursport Valkenburg a / d Geul.
b. Participant: the person who has registered via pre-registration to participate in the event.
c. Agreement: the agreement for the participation of the participant in the event.
d. Organizer: the legal person (in this case the Stichting Duursport Valkenburg) with which the participant has entered into this agreement.
1.2. These general terms and conditions apply to every agreement.
Article 2: Participation
2.1. Children under the age of 16 can only participate with parental consent.
2.2. The participant may only participate in the event if he has filled in the relevant registration form completely and truthfully and if the participant has agreed to the general terms and conditions.
2.3. Due to force majeure, the organizer may decide to cancel the event at a late date. No new date will be set for cancellation by force majeure. If the Den Driesch Loop 2020 cannot go ahead, participants will receive their registration fee back.
2.4. The organizer is not liable for costs incurred by the participant if the event has to be canceled due to force majeure.
Article 3: Liability
3.1. Participation is at your own risk. The organizer is not liable for any damage. This exclusion of liability also applies to serious types of damage such as all possible types of damage as a result of injury or death.
3.2. If despite the provisions of the first paragraph of this article liability of the organizer for damage of the participant must be taken, the obligation of the organizer to compensation of that damage is limited to at most the amount that the insurer of the organizer pertains to that pays out damage.
3.3. The participant must be adequately insured against the risk of damage that he or a surviving relative may suffer as a result of his death, injury or illness caused by his participation in the event.
3.4. The participant declares to be aware that participation requires good health in both a psychological and physical sense, and declares that he meets this requirement and that he has sufficiently prepared for the event through training and other means. The organizer advises the participant expressly and urgently to have a sports medical examination in connection with the participation in the event.
3.5. The participant indemnifies the organizer against liability for damage that third parties may suffer as a result of an act or omission attributable to a participant with regard to the event. The participant must be adequately insured against the risk of liability for such damage.
3.6. The participant indemnifies the organizer against liability for damage that the participant may suffer as a result of his participation in the event.
Article 4: Privacy
You give permission in advance to the organizer for the disclosure of photos taken during or around the event. Photos are taken by third parties and can be viewed via a link on our website and social media channels.
The GDPR gives the participant the right to withdraw his / her consent at any time. If you withdraw your consent before the competition, the registration will be canceled. You will not get your money back. If you withdraw your consent during or after the competition, we will do our best to replace your name on the result as soon as possible with "XXXX". For photos, you must indicate which photo must be removed. Then we will do our best to have it removed.
